Description
Museum Het Grachtenhuis is a very interesting museum about the history and architecture of the famous Amsterdam Canal Belt. Het Grachtenhuis (the Canal House) offers a wealth of information about the origins of the canal district and the daily life along the canals throughout the centuries. The multimedia exhibition starts at around 1600 and takes you on a fantastic journey through time. You walk through six sequential rooms where the historical development of the canals is shown. Really cool!
