Description
Restaurant Betty’s is a modern and cosy restaurant in De Pijp, serving 100% vegetarian food. They don’t even use eggs. They are not vegan - as they do use dairy products - but upon request and in advance, they can make vegan dishes for you. The menu of Restaurant Betty’s consists of a 3-course surprise menu. They are so creative, that I easily can say that even the biggest non-vegetarians will enjoy their dinner here.
Burgundian eating the vegetarian way
Betty’s takes vegetarian food to another level without a ‘hippie feeling’. One of the big prides of restaurant Betty’s is that they have permission to sell the herbs and essences of French Michelin star master chef Oliver Roelinger. With these organic and Fair Trade products, they know how to make creative and delicious vegetarian dishes at Restaurant Betty’s. This is Burgundian eating, the vegetarian way!
Scoring high with vegetarian and vegan dishes
Restaurant Betty’s is a vegetarian restaurant. That’s already 1 point for environmental consciousness. The other point they get is for using products from sustainable and organic suppliers, such as chef Oliver Roellinger who is very environmental conscious with his Relais & Châteaux. Betty’s also uses wild herbs, honey and olive oil from the Peloponnese.
Unfortunately we do not have any information (yet) regarding how sustainably Betty’s is run.
As a vegetarian restaurant, Betty’s is very conscious on animal welfare. They don’t use eggs and they serve vegan dishes on request.
