SkyLounge offers one of the few opportunities in Amsterdam to really get an overview of this wonderful city. The views from either inside the chic, yet understated bar, or from the sweeping outdoor terrace are panoramic to say the least. Stretching all the way from the IJ river to the north, to the south east, the view sweeps to the horizon. The interior design of SkyLounge, although chic, is understated and unintimidating – and certainly not pretentious (which you would almost expect from this location.

You can enjoy excellent coffee, a wide selection of wines and of course a classic or contemporary cocktail from their extensive menu. The mixologists really go to town with some of their cocktail creations, not only in terms of ingredients, but also presentation – something you should be able to expect from a cocktail bar of this calibre. Their “”Bites and Dishes” menu offers a pleasing selection of tasty treats to partner with your drinks and company. And this is definitely a bar you should go to with company, to enjoy the views, some conversation, or in the evenings on the weekends the music provided by their ever-changing DJ line-up. SkyLounge is a destination where the views are ever changing, both inside and out.
